Commitment to HSE&Q
At SAExploration, our commitment to quality is embedded in all activities. Our integrated management system (SAE-IMS) is a centralized web-based system that allows us to manage quality in operations and procedures regardless of location.

Job Safety Analysis
All field positions have been assessed and analyzed to ensure the tasks will be performed in the safest manner possible.
Training
Each employee or contractor working on SAE projects begins training at the time of hire. Training is designed to orient employees to company policies, government legislation and industry requirements for geophysical work.
First Aid and Emergency Response
The company’s goal is to be lower than industry standard LTI and TRCF standards. All crews participate in daily safety meetings. In the event of an injury, all employees are trained with proper procedures for the extraction of injured individuals from the worksite. More than half of our employees are trained in standard First Aid and CPR procedures.
Journey Management
SAE has implemented travel procedures to ensure that employees arrive safely to their destinations whether they are travelling to another office or a field location.
Transportation
Monitoring the safe transport of people and equipment is paramount. All vehicles, ATVs and watercraft are equipped with a Real Time Vehicle Tracking System allowing us to monitor fleet location as well as driver behaviour.
Audits and Inspections
Scheduled and unscheduled audits are carried out periodically in order to evaluate compliance with company and industry HSE&Q standards at each work site.
Substance Abuse Testing
SAE takes seriously the risks associated with operating while under the influence of alcohol or other or illegal substances. The company conducts testing in accordance with our Substance Abuse Policy and in compliance with jurisdictional legislation.
Incident Investigation
SAE conducts root cause (TapRooT®) analysis investigations on incidents that have the potential to cause serious harm or result in a serious injury.
