History

In 2006, SAExploration began operations in Peru as South American Exploration.

Built from the ground up by a team of some of the most experienced people in the seismic industry, SAE combined innovation, commitment and hard work to become the leading service provider in South America.

2006 – Company starts operations and opens South America Exploration seismic acquisition services office in Lima, Peru

2008 – Jungle seismic experience taken to Colombia, South America. Bogota office opens.

2010 – Further expansion of jungle seismic experience with the establishment of operations in Papua New Guinea. Offices open in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea and Brisbane, Australia.

2010 – South America expansion continues with the opening of a seismic operations office in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.

2011 – South American Exploration changes name and SAExploration is incorporated in Delaware, United States

2011 - SAExploration establishes North American seismic operations with the acquisition of Datum Exploration in Calgary, Canada.

2011 - SAExploration establishes Calgary, Canada as the North American Head Office.

2012 – Southeast Asia expansion continues with legal entity established in New Zealand. Seismic operations office opens in New Plymouth, New Zealand.

2012 – SAE takes its jungle seismic experience to Brazil. Legal entity is established in Rio de Janiero, Brazil.

2012 - North America Head Office and Canada seismic operations move into new office space in Calgary, Canada.
